Glow In The Dark

It is said often, that, "If you don't fit in, You are clearly made to stand out." Looks pretty simple, that. Welcome to blog post number three, after a month's absence.

We are all different, and that's a fact. A friend of mine argued that if indeed, we should all see ourselves as unique, technically we're being like everyone else. It's true, but there's more to the word "unique" than just being it. Unique means unusual, or remarkable, which separates you from others. Glow in the Dark is a short and simple message that urges you to stand out, and be the light in this world of gloom. See beneath the ordinary. My friend, Aba, has an inscription on her Instagram page which reads, "Be the change you want to see in the world". No one said it was easy, and it's true that nothing good comes easy. That change has to be sought after.

"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid", echoes Jesus' words in Matthew 5:14. You have been set apart and put "on a hill" to ensure that your light affects others positively. In every group of people, upon observation, you discover different characters, different statures and different people in general. No one is the same, and the light that shines through each and every one of us is different, as per our calling. Every one has a different purpose and that's what I mean.

Being Positive: The Proton Theory.

There is not much actually, to the Proton Theory, just the positive nature of protons. For the science smashers and the descendants of Albert Nana Kojo Einstein, it is enough to note that Protons are small subtomic  (excuse my Chemistry) subatomic particles found in the nucleus of atoms. The most intriguing thing about protons is the fact that they are positive, no matter the circumstance. Comparing it to the electron, which is negative(the bad guy), the proton is way heavier, amassing about 1,840 times bigger than an electron. That's a good thing because, if you're heavier, you are more likely to be filled with good stuff. Reminder: We are thinking positively over here. 

A few months ago, I wrote an article stressing on the need to Stay Positive. Naturally, as a human being, I'm bound to experience a lot of ups and downs and with observation, I find that the way to battle such things lies in a positive mindset. I'm not perfect, and as I stated in my first blog, I will feature people who have made it through God's help, because I also need the advice.

Not all success is Godly, and we should constantly examine what our definition of success is, making sure it's within His commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves.

The First Of Many.

There's not so much to write now since I'm just starting but I hope to keep you updated regularly. My next blog is featuring three very prestigious people who have made it and are making it by God's grace. Before I leave, I will drop by some food for thought. I heard it on the JOY FM some time back, read by the Morning Show host, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah.

"What you think are your limitations, are just little fragments of your imagination."

So I pondered over it. I looked deeper, and I noticed the  truth within. We force ourselves to believe there are things we can't do.. when actually, we can. Philippians 4:13,"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I'll end here, but watch out for my next blog, Being Positive: The Proton Theory.
